The logo represents the vision of Atmanandam Mission Trust. Words are in Sanskrit. At the bottom of the circle is a banner with the Mission’s motto “Atmanandam Parama Lakshyam” which translates to “The Ultimate goal of human life is to attain Supreme Inner Bliss (also referred to as Nirvana/Liberation/Self-Realization/ Enlightenment).
Atma-Ultimate Inner Divine/Spirit/Soul/Absolute reality/Supreme Consciousness within/Higher Self.
Anandam-Eternal Bliss/Infinite stream of inner joy/ (beyond mind/body/intellect)/Peace that passeth all understanding
Within the circle are 4 Sanskrit words representing the four states of Consciousness (Avastha) or Human awareness or the 4 aspects of Parabrahma:
The symbols within the circle represent the archetypal energies of the universe that human beings are born into this unique lifetime with.
- Sun – Father, represents the Soul and is reflected by the moon. It awakens the mind and pure intelligence. The Soul/Atma is always in a state of bliss and requires no experience.
- Moon- Mother, Manas /Pure Intelligence. Represents awakening of the pure intelligence through the mind. It is the mind that needs to experience the state of bliss or Atmanandam
- Deep blue background represents the expansive Collective Consciousness.
- 9 planets – (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and the 2 shadow planets Rahu and Ketu)- represent the various influences and tendencies/in-born states from previous lives that have carried over into this present lifetime as karmic states.
