The dynamic aspect of Supreme Consciousness is celebrated as the Feminine Divine or Shakti which simply translates to energy or that which moves everything in existence. The devotional worship of the Feminine Divine as Goddess exists in many parts of the world in various forms such as Mother Mary, Fathima, Goddess Durga etc.
The Feminine dynamic energy principle governs all the Creative aspects of all things in existence, all things in motion, the ebb and flow and rhythmic cycles in nature as well as all movement within the body.
We honor and worship this powerful force as an intelligence principle and call Her Shakti by the various names ascribed to Her. It is through a practice of surrender and devotion that one can connect to the truly mysterious aspects of one’s life that makes human existence sacred and Divine.
During the 9 nights of the Goddess or Navaratri we worship the 9 Forms of the Feminine Divine and by the end of the retreat, you should experience yourself as the Feminine Divine within.
